Well it was a weird one this year!
I had so much fun getting the routes ready this year. We tried out an all new area so everything had to be mapped out and routes designed…..it took a lot of scouting….and snow clearing.

We were on track to have our biggest year with 60 something tickets already sold by the end of May. But a round of bad weather set in right on the weekend of the rally and it scared a ton of people off. We only had 45 of the 68 show up. Which was still our biggest year….but only by a little. Despite the low numbers and the weather, we had an absolute blast!
The best part for me was that everyone who did show up despite the weather, REALLY wanted to be there. it was such a great crowd……the real adventurers were. out in full force.
The second year of geocaching worked out so much better than the first year and it ended up being a big hit. We will definitely be expanding that for next year. The poker runs were great but the off-road poker run was the real star this year…….

Yeah……we rode in the snow……in June. It was so fun. We all really appreciated the new pavilion that North Haven Campground built this spring!

I don’t have a lot to say about this years rally other than this: It was so fun getting out there and getting muddy and soaking wet with a group of riders who were there for the ride, not the sunshine. We were all there cause we REALLY WANTED IT…..and it was worth every second we froze our asses off.
I can’t wait for next year…….but a little sunshine would be nice.

It certainly was a cold ride but the riders really didn’t care! As Tony said, they were there to ride no matter the conditions!! Next year will be the best yet!!!!!
